Professional imagery that feels like you

Whether you need a clean, professional headshot or a full personal branding session, the goal is the same - to create images that represent you confidently and authentically. Headshot sessions are simple and efficient, perfect for personal use such as LinkedIn, a new job, professional profiles, or even dating platforms.

Personal branding sessions are more collaborative and strategic, designed to create a library of images you can use across websites, marketing materials, and social media. Every session begins with a consultation so I understand your goals and how your images will be used. Branding sessions can range from one to multiple hours depending on your needs and conclude with a curated gallery of digital files ready for use.

FAQ

01. how do we get started?

Getting started begins with a consultation, either in person or over the phone, where we talk through your needs and how you plan to use your images. During this conversation, we’ll discuss ideas, choose a location, and determine how much time your session will require so I can provide an accurate quote. Once you’ve reviewed the quote and decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your session and I’ll guide you through any remaining questions so you feel confident and prepared.

02. what can I expect after the photo session?

After your session, your images will be carefully curated and edited. You can expect to receive your online gallery within approximately two weeks. Once you receive your gallery, you’ll have the opportunity to review the images and request any additional edits at that time, ensuring your final selections feel just right before delivery.

03. who maintains copyright of my images?

Copyright for your images is retained by Cathy, the photographer. Under U.S. copyright law, the person who creates a photograph automatically owns the copyright unless it’s explicitly transferred in writing. That means you’re granted usage rights to enjoy, print, and share your photos, but the underlying copyright remains with me unless you choose to purchase a full copyright transfer, which is available at additional cost. This ensures clarity around how the images can be used and protects both your and my creative work.

04. Do you provide raw files?

Raw files are the unprocessed digital “negatives” straight from the camera and are not finished images you can use or share without special software and editing. Because my creative process includes carefully selecting and editing your images to reflect my style and deliver the best final results, I do not include raw files with your gallery. Delivering finished, high-resolution edited files ensures you receive images that look great on screen, in print, and in artwork. If you have a specific need for raw files or want to discuss an expanded delivery option, we can talk about that as an add-on for an additional fee.
